All I Want (Alt jeg ønsker)

The artwork All I Want acts as a rephrasal of Joni Mitchell's All I Want from her seminal album Blue, 1962, and as a reference to the autobiographical memoir Arrangements in Blue, 2023, by Amy Key. Key reflects on the concepts of romantic, domestic and platonic love and compares them to the album Blue. In All I Want, Mitchell sings how "All I want is to knit you a sweater" and likewise, the figure mirros this act. However, the figure is molding herself for her significant other, indexed by her body mimicking the rectangular shape of the canvas while simultaneously just wanting a partner that gives her their all in the same way that she is willing to do for them.
