Et Klunkehjem

Have you ever read the drama " A Doll's House" by Henrik Ibsen? The play, set in Denmark during the late 1800's, depicts the power dynamic between the two main characters, Nora and Torvald, in their "klunkehjem". Likewise, this piece indexes how perhaps society has not moved beyond the state of gender equality seen when the play was released: a woman being both the wife, the mother and the seducer while the man is still on the high chair, holding his sexuality over her.
