Gratitude (Taknemlighed)

 In Wendy Cope's poem "The Orange", she reflects on the concept of gratitude and the simplicity of life as she depicts the course of her day. In the last line, she writes: "I love you. I'm glad I exist." as big thank you to life. That is what oranges are. A symbol of gratitude.
